Where It All Began
Our in-store coffee bar has been a Pittsburgh staple since 1995—but it’s modeled on the espresso bars you find all over Europe, where you can stand and sip an espresso or coffee. It’s a haven for coffee and tea aficionados looking to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee as fresh as they can get it, right at the source. And it’s a place where folks working in downtown Pittsburgh meet—to chat, sip, and maybe even enjoy one of our only-in-house specialty drinks.
How to Coffee Bar
Walk over to the counter in front of our espresso machine and make your selection. You can choose from three coffees: A decaf, a flavored option, or our regular coffee that the barista is showcasing that day. Or, you can select from nearly a hundred looseleaf teas we have in-store, and we’ll brew that up for you to try.
But the choices don’t end there…you can also order any coffee bar drink you like. Maybe a mocha? Or a London fog? We use only Monin gourmet syrups, and between our coffees, teas, and Monin flavors, we can whip up something magical for you to enjoy in-house or take to go.

You Can Take It With You
If you find a coffee or tea you love at our Coffee Bar, we can bag the beans or leaves up for you on the spot to take home. And if you can’t get to the shop but are still dreaming about that delicious latte you enjoyed, order the beans online.
